Free parking is available at The Grainary, and the seaside town of Scarborough is 15 minutes’ drive away. Historic Whitby can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Harwood Dale Forest which is 4 miles from The Grainary is popular for watching wildlife including birds, roe deer, badgers, foxes and dragonflies.
